We had an email through our RJC website the other day. (By the way, thanks to Simon Pleasants, we have a modified new look on the website.) The email writer said that she had graduated from a Christian school in Canada, is teaching in an elementary school in Japan where there is no church. And she wondered if she should start some kind of an outreach through a coffee-shop or cafe ministry.
My mind went into race-track mode because in Operation Japan we often pray for Christians living in the unchurched areas. I (we) need to keep praying.
Then I wondered how many churches in the US and Canada would love to partner with people like this teacher to help her start a new outreach. Anyone interested? Is that you Lord?
