Japanese Family Values

Acts 16:31, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.” These were words of guidance and encouragement spoken by Paul (in the Bible) to a rough frighten jailer. And the next verse shares how the jailer’s whole household heard God’s word.

Yesterday I spent considerable time working with the videos from our RJC Chicago Mini-Conference. One of the presentations was by Sachi Nakamura. She shared the difficulties that are caused by the Japanese family values. I recommend everyone to see them at . She provides good insight to help us see the issues from the family’s side, and offers loving help to reduce the friction caused when one member comes to Jesus.

  1. Sachi made me cry a bit! I loved listening to her! Thanks Sachi for sharing and thanks Don for spending time producing those videos. I am a Chicago born and raised in the cornfields kind a girl and I always like to see God’s work for reaching the Japanese in the place I grew up. Otsukaresamadeshita!
